COUNTRY INFORMATION

Nicknamed the "Spice Island," Grenada has much more to offer than just white sandy beaches. It is made up of several small islands located southwest of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and northeast of Trinidad and Tobago. The nickname originates from the variety of spices produced here. Grenada has been independent since 1974. English is the official language, the Eastern Caribbean dollar is the official currency, and St. George’s is the capital. With an average year-round temperature ranging from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius and refreshing trade winds, Grenada is a great place to visit at many times of the year. Grenada's citizenship and second passport program is well-established and is one of the most prominent Citizenship by Investment Programs.

BUDGET

To qualify for Grenadian citizenship under the Citizenship by Investment Program, there are two options to choose from
  • 1. DONATION TO THE NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION FUND (NTF)

Non-refundable financial contribution to the Government fund. The cost varies depending on the number of applicants and their ages.

    Primary applicant: USD 150,000
Family of up to 4, including the main applicant: USD 200,000

  • 2. REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT

Real estate investment must be made through one of the Government-approved real estate projects, such as fully owned property with a title deed, hotel shares, fractional ownership, or land. The investment and Government fees are payable after citizenship is approved. The passport is issued once the payment is completed.

There are two options to choose from with different investment thresholds, with the primary difference being the holding period required for the asset.

Minimum investment (must hold for approximately 3 years or longer depending on the specific project): USD 200,000

    GOVERNMENT FEES

In addition to the real estate purchase, Government fees apply:

    • Family of up to 4 (including spouse of the main applicant and dependents under 30 years): USD 50,000
    • Government fee for each additional family member under 30: USD 25,000
    • Additional unmarried sibling: USD 25,000
  • 3. DUE DILIGENCE AND BACKGROUND CHECK

Background checks are mandatory and must be submitted directly to the Government, which will designate a due diligence agency. To perform their role, these agencies use various international resources such as Interpol, World-Check, and other government agencies. Fees are payable at the time of submitting your application.

    • Main applicant: USD 5,000
    • Spouse: USD 5,000
    • Dependents aged 17 to 29, including parents over 55 and siblings over 18: USD 5,000
