To qualify for permanent residency in Cyprus under the investment program, applicants must make an initial investment in real estate.

Minimum Investment Levels:

• 300,000 EUR: Initial real estate investment.
• 500,000 EUR: Additional real estate investment to include both parents.

Applicants can purchase residential property worth over 300,000 EUR (plus VAT) and can combine real estate projects such as:

• An apartment or a house.
• Two apartments, two houses, or a combination.
• An apartment/house and a commercial shop/warehouse.
• An apartment/house and an office.

Requirements for Real Estate:

• The property must be new; resale properties will not qualify.
• The property should be purchased from a developer who has built that property.
• The sale and purchase contract must be officially submitted to the Cyprus Land and Survey Department.
• The property can be purchased by a registered company under the applicant’s name.

Additional Requirements:

• The primary applicant must maintain a fixed deposit of at least 30,000 EUR for 3 years in a Cyprus bank, with the funds being transferred from abroad. After 3 years, the amount will be refunded.
• Proof of safe income from abroad of at least 30,000 EUR per year is required. For the spouse and children included in the application, an additional 5,000 EUR for each person and 8,000 EUR for the parents of the primary applicant or their spouse is needed.
• The applicant cannot work in Cyprus but can own a registered business in Cyprus and receive dividends.
• A clean criminal record is required, and the applicant must not be on the EU’s sanctions list.
• The applicant must visit Cyprus within 1 year from the date of PRP to provide biometric data for the issuance of the PR card. All family members must visit Cyprus every two years.
• PR status may be revoked if the individual is granted permanent residency in another country.
